THE YARN 
Thanks to the magic of its gorgeous lambswool yarn, this highly versatile sweater will help to regulate body temperature, whatever the weather.  The Liddel showcases a unique yarn combination that’s custom-spun by Genevieve herself. In this case, a sartorial chunky twist of warming hazelnut, charcoal and black that evokes a timeless mood.

This lambswool yarn has RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) certification, meaning that both the sheep that produce it and the land on which they graze is actively protected. Our yarn mill only sources from farms that can demonstrate respectful animal welfare, so every sheep leads a healthy life with essential freedoms.

SUSTAINABILITY CREDENTIALS 
The Liddel is crafted by a highly skilled team of Scottish knitters based at a mill on the banks of Loch Leven, and for good reason: the purity of the water helps to open up the yarn fibres – a completely natural process that results not just in a wonderfully consistent colour, but also a sumptuously soft handle that defines GS pieces. Fibres are also dyed before being spun – a gentler process that enhances quality while making the most of the yarn’s natural beauty.
