THE YARN 
The super-soft wool Genevieve has selected for the Leslie is locally sourced and spun by a celebrated Aberdeenshire mill. The secret to its luxurious handle is the fact it comes from the ‘first clip’ of the lamb – an initial shear known for its unrivalled softness. Finer and more expensive, it produces a garment of exceptionally high quality without compromising on its authentic Shetland character. Once spun, it is then brushed using the teasel thistle – a rarely used specialist technique that further enhances the sumptuously soft handle.

Genevieve creates Leslie’s timeless hue through a carefully balanced and truly unique colour melange in azure blue. A complex blend of turquoise blue with hints of yellow and grey.
